Don’t cheer Iraq oil agreement just yet
U.S. officials heralded the oil revenue-sharing agreement in Iraq but they should not rush to judgment. Here’s why.
This is when the economics come to the table, when Kurdistan region wanted to separate from Iraq they didn’t agree, and Iraqi government have been always against Kurdish needs, but after reading this article its showing their support and help, which I believe all has to do with the oil that Kurdistan exports to Iraq, we are talking about billions of dollars. On the other hand, when the Iraqi government saw the efforts that the Kurdish forces Peshmerga put against ISIS now they are realizing that there’s a power in Kurdistan and they want to support it. The reason I’m writing this is because I mentioned earlier that economics has a lot to do with drawing maps in the world.
